Sev Usal is a spicy and tempting Indian snack that features ragda and is a must-try if you enjoy the taste of healthy ragda in your chaat. Now you can get the same taste at your home with Satvam Sev usal masala.
Boil 1.5- 2 cup dry white peas in 1ltr water and reserve the water. Make smooth paste of 2 medium size tomato, 2 medium size onion and 1tsp Ginger - Garlic - Green Chilli.
3 tbsp oil in large pan and add 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds, 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds, 10-12 Fresh Curry Leaves and simmer for 1 min.
Add onion paste, saute till oil separates. Add Ginger - Garlic - Green Chilli Paste, Pureed tomatoes and cook for 5 minute. Add boiled peas, 2.5-3.0 tsp Satvam Sev Ussal Masala,salt to taste mix well.
Keep the flame low, garnish with finely Chopped fresh coriander leaves, onion springs and usal (thick) sev. Serve hot Bread Buns & Gren Chilli- Garlic Chutney.
